At the request of the French Ministry of Culture, the Conseil supérieur de la propriété littéraire et artistique (CSPLA – IP high-level advisory body) has launched two new missions on AI :

• the first mission relates to the implementation of the AI Act, in particular the new transparency obligations imposed on AI solution providers. The conclusions of this mission shall be presented by the end of 2024
• the second mission relates to the remuneration of cultural content used by AI systems, in particular the economic and legal issues underlying use by AI systems of to data protected by copyrights. The conclusions of this mission shall be presented in 2025.
